So yummy and light. The chocolate chips add a hidden gem inside this lower fat banana muffin

Recipe Ingredients for Banana chocolate chip muffin

2 1/4 cups white whole wheat flour
25 g g Stevia Powder
0.66 cup sugar
1 tbl baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3 bananas
2 eggs
227 g Voskos Greek Yogurt
1 tsp vanilla
4 oz fat free half and half
4 oz canola oil
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
4 oz applesauce

Recipe Directions for Banana chocolate chip muffin

  1. Mix all wet ingredients, icluding the bananas together on high for 2 minutes

  2. Sift all dry ingredients together, excluding chocolate chips

  3. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix on high for 1 minute, making sure to scrape down sides.

  4. Mix in chocolate

  5. Fill muffins cups to 2/3 high

  6. If you want sprinkle 1/4 tsp brown sugar on top before placing in oven

  7. Place in 375* oven for 21-25 minutes

  8. Test to make sure they are done.

  9. Cool in pan for 5 minutes, then completely cool on wire rack.
