Quick banana bread with chocolate chips.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

4 ripe bananas
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups white flour
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup margarine
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

  1. Add all ingredients, EXCEPT chocolate chips, in a large mixing bowl and mix well. Add chocolate chips and stir well. Pour into greased bread pan. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 hour, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for a few minutes and then turn out of the pan onto racks to completely cool

  2. Makes 3 loaves and each one makes about 12 slices.
