Recipe Ingredients for Banana Chip Muffins (original recipe)

1 egg
1/3 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. sugar
3 bananas
2 c. flour
1/2 c. Old Fashioned Oats
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c. chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Banana Chip Muffins (original recipe)

  1. In large mixing bowl, beat egg, oil, and sugar until smooth. Stir in mashed bananas. In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir quickly into the banana mixture. Mix just until moistened. Add chocolate chips.

  2. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for five minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
