Banana Bread made with whole wheat flour and turbinado sugar

3/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup butter
2/3 cup turbinado sugar
2 eggs
1 cup banana, mashed
1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread - whole wheat

  1. preheat oven to 350.

  2. sift together the dry ingredients.

  3. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well.

  4. Mix in the dry ingredients alternately with the bananas, then add pecans.

  5. Pour batter into greased loaf pan.

  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
