Makes 3 small loaves Banana Bread

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread w/Whole Wheat Flour - 10/5/10

4 bananas
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour, white
1 c. flour, wheat
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1/4 c. milled flax seed

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread w/Whole Wheat Flour - 10/5/10

  1. Mix bananas with sugar and let stand for 15 minutes. Add butter and mix. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Disolve 1 tsp. baking soda in 1 tbsp. of water. Add remaining ingredients and mix adding nuts and flax seed last.

  2. Spray 3 small loaf pans and put batter in pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
