Very moist. Makes 1 large loaf or 3 small ones

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup Vegetable Shortening
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons Vinegar distilled
4 tablespoons 1% milk
1 teaspoons 1% milk
3 bananas
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups whole wheat flour

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Combine vinegar and all milk in small bowl. Set aside.

  2. Combine first 3 ingredients until creamy.

  3. Dissolve baking soda in milk mixture.

  4. Add all remaining ingredients and mix well.

  5. Pour into greased pan(s).

  6. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes for small pans and 1 hour for large pan.
