not too sweet banana bread. I would have used apple sauce instead of all that sugar and butter, but didn't have any on hand.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

2 ripe bananas
1/3 cup butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp honey
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Mash 2-3 ripe bananas in a bowl.

  3. Mix in butter, eggs, vanilla, honey, cinnamon and sugar.

  4. Mix in baking soda and salt.

  5. Mix flour into bowl last.

  6. Butter a loaf pan, pour in batter and bake for 45 minutes.
