Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1 1/2 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 large Egg, Whole
2 1/2 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas
1 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
3 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Unbleached
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Grease 2 loaf pans.

  2. Cream sugar, oil, and vanilla.

  3. Mash bananas well.

  4. Add eggs to cream mixture and beat well.

  5. Add mashed bananas to cream and beat well again.

  6. Combine flour, soda, and salt in a separate bowl.

  7. Alternate adding milk and flour mixture to cream mixture.

  8. Pour into the greased loaf pans.

  9. Bake at 350 for 50-60 until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
