Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 bananas
1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.

  2. In large bowl beat together sugar, oil and eggs.

  3. Stir in bananas.

  4. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt; add to banana mixture and stir until combined.

  5. Fold in nuts.

  6. Pour into well-greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.

  7. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until done.

  8. Remove from pan and cool on rack.

  9. Makes one loaf.
