Very tasty breakfast food or snack.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup skim milk
2 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups ripe bananas
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Sift flour, baking powder soda, baking soda, and salt in mixing bowl.

  3. Beat eggs well, and then add sugar, oil, bananas, vanilla, and milk.

  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix only until combined, stir in nuts.

  5. Pour mixture into bread pan.

  6. Bake for 1 hour 20 minutes.

  7. Cool 5 mintues before serving to cooling rack.
