1 egg to 2 eggs, 1/4 cup butter to maragine, 2 cups flour to 1 2/3 cup, 3 cups of banana to 3/4 cup, omit the sugar and used applesauce, no eggs just egg whites , changed all pourpose flour to wheat flour Dessert

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1/3 cup applesauce
1/4 cup margarine
2 Egg, White
3/4 cup mashed banana
1 cup wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350F

  2. Lightly grease an 8x4 inch loaf pan

  3. In large bowl cream together sugar and maragine

  4. Beat in eggs and bananas

  5. Mix flour, baking soda, powder and salt until combined

  6. Add water mix well

  7. Pour into prepared loaf pans

  8. Baked in preheated oven for 1 hour.

  9. If top begins to brown too quickly, decrease heat slightly

  10. Center should be soft and chewy, while outside crisp and crunchy
