Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
4 medium bananas, mashed
1/2 cup 2% milk

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. Grease an average-sized bread pan.

  3. In one bowl, mix the cake flour, baking soda, and salt together evenly.

  4. In a large bowl, beat together the bananas, shortening, sugar, milk, and vanilla.

  5. Add the dry mixture to the wet. Beat well until mixture becomes uniform.

  6. Pour bread mix into bread pan.

  7. Place in oven, bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

  8. ENJOY!!
