Bake in loaf pan @ 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 (large) eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
3 (medium,very ripe, mashed) bananas

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Cream together butter or other shortening and sugar. Add 2 eggs slightly beaten. Mix together flour, baking pwder and salt. To this add alternately buttermilk and baking soda. Last, mix in the 3 very ripe mashed bananas.

  2. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
