Recipe Ingredients for banana bread

250 g plain flour
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 pinch salt
115 g butter
115 g brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
500 g banana

Recipe Directions for banana bread

  1. mash approx 4 ripe bananas

  2. in a separate bowl cream together the butter and sugar

  3. mix in the beaten eggs

  4. stir in the mashed banana

  5. mix together all remaining dry ingredients and fold into wet mixture.

  6. empty into greased and lined bread tin

  7. bake for 60 minutes on 180 (170 for fan assisted)
