Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon, ground
1/8 tsp nutmeg, ground
1/2 cup Egg Beaters
1 1/2 cup bananas, mashed
196 packets splenda (1 cup)
1/2 cup I Can't Believe it's not Butter
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Grease bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of one 9x5x3-inch pan; set aside. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Make a well in center of flour mixture; set aside.

  2. In another medium bowl combine egg beaters, bananas, Splenda, and margarine. Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened (batter should be lumpy). Spoon batter into prepared pan.

  3. Bake in 350 ove for 55 to 60 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean (if necessary, cover loosely with foil for the last 15 minutes of baking to prevent overbrowning.) Cool in pa o wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan. Coll completely on a wire rack. Wrap and store overnight before slicing.
