This is dense, yummy banana bread. Make sure butter and eggs are at room temperature.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

2 Eggs
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup White sugar
2 cups flour
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup skim milk
1 tsp cinnamon
2 bananas
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Combine dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugars. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. Stir in banana, milk & vanilla. Add remaining ingredients & stir by hand until well combined.

  2. Pour into 9 x 5 loaf pan, greased on bottom only. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan. Cool completely before slicing
