Delicious recipe- not too sweet! From "Spice and Spirit"

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

2 cups flour
3/4 cup agave syrup
1 t baking powder
1 t salt
1/2 t baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 cup ripe bananas
1/2 cup walnuts
1/4 cup wheat germ

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Grease and flour loaf pan

  3. Sift dry ingredients into a large bowl. Add eggs, butter, and bananas. Mix well. Fold in nuts and wheat germ. Mixture will be thick.

  4. Pour into loaf pan (9.5''x5.5''). Bake for 65 to 75 min, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting.
