Moist and wonderful this bread will last for a week if you wrap it tightly.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
4 bananas
1/3 cup water
1 2/3 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Mix butter and sugar in a large bowl. Stir in eggs til blended

  2. Beat in water and bananas. Stir in the remaining ingredients until just moistened. Pour in a 9x5x3in loaf pan, greased on the bottom only. Bake at 350 degrees for @50 mins or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cool 5 mins and remove from pan.
