Banana bread recipe with chocolate chips

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 bananas, mashed
3/4 tsp vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 tsps baking powder
1 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Cream the butter and sugar

  2. blend in the bananas, vanilla and eggs

  3. whisk together the dry ingredients

  4. add to the banana mixture and mix until just combined

  5. pour into greased 9x5 loaf pan

  6. bake at 350 degrees (check after 45 min, may take up to 60 min)

  7. check with toothpick test

  8. cool bread in pan for 10 mins, then cool completely on wire rack
