Lower in sugar and made with whole wheat flour. Chocolate chips and walnuts optional.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup flax
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup applesauce
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup banana
1/3 cup water
1 cup whole wheat flour
2/3 cup all-purpouse flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup walnuts

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Mix, sugar, applesauce, margarine and flaxseed. Add eggs.

  2. Add bananas and water.

  3. Stire in rest of ingredients until moist

  4. Add chips and nuts.

  5. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350 for 60-65 minutes.
