Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1 cup sugar
1 cup bananas, mashed
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Grease bottom of 9x5 loaf pan.

  3. In large bowl, blend first 6 ingredients; beat one minute on medium speed

  4. Stir in remaining ingredients just until dry ingredients are moistened.

  5. Pour batter into pan.

  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  7. Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan. Cool completely before serving.
