Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup splenda
1 cup mashed bananas
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Cream together butter, sugar and splenda. Add eggs one at a time beating until smooth. Blend in mashed bananas.

  2. In a second bowl. stir flour with baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add to banana mixture stirring only to moisten. Transfer to greased 9x5x3 inch (23x12x7 cm) loaf pan. Bake in 350 oven for about 1 hr or until toothpick comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes. Remove from pan and place on cake rack to cool. Wrap to store. Yield: 1 loaf
