This recipie uses applesauce instead of butter.

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1/2 cup organic applesauce
1 cup sugar
2 large whole eggs
3 medium bananas
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Add the applesauce, sugar, eggs and bananas together and blend.

  2. Sift in the flour, salt and baking soda.

  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour in greased loaf pan.

  4. Makes one 2 lb loaf.
