Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

3 bananas, over-ripened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. combine ingredients and mix batter

  2. mix in milk, vanilla and nuts

  3. grease loaf pan(s) and pour in batter

  4. cook at pre-heated oven 350 degrees oven for approximately 1 hour

  5. test for doneness with a toothpick in the middle of loaf.

  6. makes 2 small loaves or 1 large loaf. slice and serve. great warmed with butter or eaten at room temperature
