Basic banana bread, but made with Splenda

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread

1 cup Splenda
1/3 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup banana, mashed
1/3 cup water
1 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg.

  2. Grease bottom of 8" or 9" loaf pan

  3. Mix Splenda and butter

  4. Add eggs and water, beat 30 seconds

  5. Add flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder

  6. Mix thoroughly

  7. Pour into pan

  8. Bake at 350 deg. about 1 1/4 hour (8") or 55-60 min (9") until toothpick comes out clean -- If using Splenda, check about 10 minutes early.

  9. Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan

  10. Cool thoroughly before serving
