227 grams Brown Sugar
1 serving Southern Grove Pecan Halves
1 serving Southern Grove Chopped Walnuts
12 oz Banana
2 oz Vegetable Oil
1 large Egg, Whole
1.5 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 serving Southern Grove Dried Cranberries

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread with nuts and cranberries

  1. The bananas should be very, very ripe -- almost black. You will also need a bread pan for baking the banana bread.

  2. Begin by preheating the over to 350 degrees and greasing the bread pan. Now, we will mash the bananas, using either a fork or a potato masher.

  3. Mix Banana Bread Ingredients

  4. In a large bowl, mix together the bananas, the sugar, the egg and the oil. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, the baking soda, and the salt. Now, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, stirring as you go.

  5. Bake the Banana Bread

  6. Fill the bread pan approximately 1/3 full and put it in the oven. Let the banana bread bake for about an hour, until it starts to turn dark brown. You should be able to stick in a knife and have it come out clean. Let it cool in the pan before removing and slicing.
