Copycat of the delicious but pricey Larabar

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread Larabar

1/2 cup dates
1/4 cup almonds
60 g brazil nuts (Whole)
1 banana
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread Larabar

  1. Slice bananas into 1/4" slices and dehydrate on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. 200 degrees for 2-3 hours.

  2. Combine all ingredients in food processor and process until finely chopped and ball forms.

  3. On Saran Wrap, roll or press "dough" into a 9" x 4" slab (3/4" thick). Cover with wrap and refrigerate for about 20 minutes and then using a sharp knife cut into six 4" x 1.5"-2" bars.

  4. Wrap individually and keep in fridge for up to 6 days or freeze for up to 6 months.
