Recipe Ingredients for Banana bread - heathier version

5 tbs butter
5 tbs applesauce
3 large bananas
1/4 c fat free sour cream
1/4 c sour cream
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 large eggs
2 c flour
3/4 c splenda no calorie
2 tbs splenda no calorie
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Banana bread - heathier version

  1. Lightly grease 4-square stone loaf pan with Pam spray.

  2. Pure bananas, sour cream, eggs & vanilla in a food processor.

  3. Sift cake flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder & salt into bowl of an electric mixer.

  4. Add butter & mix on low speed, about 30 seconds.

  5. Add bananas to mixture in 3 batches, scraping sides.

  6. Pour into loaf pan.

  7. Bake until lightly browned & bread bounces back to the touch - about 1 hour 10 minutes.

  8. Remove from the oven & cool for 10 minutes before turning onto wire rack to cool completely.
