Banana Bread with chocolate chips for breakfast or snack

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips

1/2 cup canola oil, Crisco
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 bananas
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup water
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour, King Arthur
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup walnuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread with Chocolate Chips

  1. Beat two eggs in mixing bowl, add sugar and canola oil and mix, then add mashed bananas, water and baking soda.

  2. In separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon together.

  3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and then add walnuts and chocolate chips.

  4. Bake at 325 degrees for an hour and 10 minutes or more if needed until done.
