6 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup crystallized ginger
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups banana
1/4 cup yogurt, whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Banana bread with chocolate chips and ginger

  1. preheat the oven to 350.

  2. greast loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.

  3. Melt butter

  4. Whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

  5. add chocolate chips and ginger, mix well. set aside.

  6. Lightly beat eggs, add banana, yogurt, butter and vanilla. stir to mix well

  7. pour banana mixture into dry ingredients, stir gently.

  8. incorporate all flour, but do not overmix

  9. bake 50 min - 1 hour until top is deep goldenbrown.
