1 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
1 cup Wheat Flour, Whole-grain
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt, Table
1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
2 large Egg, Whole
1/2 cup Natural Classic Flavors
6 oz Plain Nonfat
4 oz Plain Nonfat
3 1/2 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) Bananas

Recipe Directions for Banana Bread #2

  1. This is my favorite banana bread recipe! Enjoy.

  2. Ingredients:

  3. 2 cups all-purpose flour (if you desire use 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1 cup wheat flour)

  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  5. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  6. 1/4 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  8. 2 eggs, beaten

  9. 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 5 bananas)*

  10. 1 cup sugar

  11. 1/2 cup applesauce (if you don't have applesauce use cooking oil or melted butter)

  12. 1/2 cup sour cream

  13. A dash of brown sugar, optional.

  14. Directions:

  15. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of on 9x5x3 - inch pan.

  16. In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

  17. In a medium bowl combine eggs, bananas, sugar, applesauce and sour cream. Add mixture to flour mixture. Stir, batter should be slightly lumpy.

  18. Pour batter into the pan and sprinkle brown sugar on top.

  19. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.

  20. Let cool for 10 minutes or so.

  21. Take out of the pan and cool completely.

  22. Eat and enjoy.

  23. I baked in a muffin tin instead
