Easy bran muffin recipe for over ripe bananas

Recipe Ingredients for Banana bran muffins with whole wheat

1 1/2 cups natural bran
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
3 bananas
1/2 cup 1% milk
1/2 cup margarine

Recipe Directions for Banana bran muffins with whole wheat

  1. Combine first 7 dry ingredients in a large bowl

  2. Beat remaining ingredients in small bowl

  3. Add banana mixture to dry ingredients, stirring until combined

  4. Spoon into greased or paper lined muffin cups

  5. Bake at 400 degrees F for 18 to 20 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched

  6. Makes 12 muffins but I made 18 smaller ones
