Delicious healthy high fiber low fat banana bran nut muffins

Recipe Ingredients for Banana bran muffins

1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 bananas
1/4 cup fat free milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/2 cup wheat bran
2 tbsp flaxseed meal
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Recipe Directions for Banana bran muffins

Combine wet ingredients, mix well. Add in dry ingredients, stir just until mixed. Fill muffin cups 2/3 of the way full. Bake 20 minutes at 375F until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
