Recipe Ingredients for Banana bran muffins 2

1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup bran
1/8 cup sugar
1/3 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup skim milk
1/8 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 teaspoon vanilla
1 small bananas
1 tbsp ground flax seed
10 scoop whey powder

Recipe Directions for Banana bran muffins 2

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. 2Combine dry ingredients in large bowl.

  3. 3Whisk milk, applesauce and vanilla in medium bowl.

  4. 4Add milk mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until combined.

  5. 5Mix in bananas.

  6. 6Divide batter among 12 muffin cups (spray muffin pan with nonstick spray first).

  7. 7Bake until toothpick inserted in centre of muffins comes out clean, about 20 minutes.

  8. 8Transfer to a rack to cool.

  9. 9Serve warm or at room temperature.
