Recipe Ingredients for Banana Blondies

4 tablespoon margarine
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2/3 cups mashed banana
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Banana Blondies

  1. preheat oven to 350

  2. grease 8x8 baking tray with cooking spray

  3. melt butter, add brown sugar and blend

  4. add egg and vanilla extract. blend until smooth

  5. add mashed banana. blend until well combined

  6. add salt, white, and whole wheat flours. combine but do not over mix.

  7. dust walnuts with a little flour (to prevent them from sinking to bottom) and add to batter (don't over mix)

  8. pour batter into tray and bake for 20-25 mins (until toothpick comes out clean!)
