Recipe Ingredients for Banana Avocado Bread

170 grams All-purpose Flour
140 grams Whole Wheat Flour
30 grams Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
260 grams Avocado
50 grams Olive oil
190 grams Banana
1 Egg, Whole
135 grams Lowfat Kefir
200 grams Sugar

Recipe Directions for Banana Avocado Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Whisk flours, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt in large bowl.

  3. Mash avocado and banana in a food processor or by hand if you don't have a food processor.

  4. In a medium bowl mix egg, oil, buttermilk and sugar until combined. Add avocado/banana and mix until incorporated.

  5. Add avocado mixture to flour mixture and mix until blended.

  6. Pour into prepared loaf pan. Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or when top is browned and firm to touch. Test for doneness with a toothpick and bake longer if necessary.

  7. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack.
