Great healthy snack. Good use of frozen bananas! Add other fruit for variation. Almonds provide good fiber, flavor and fat!

Recipe Ingredients for Banana Almond Smoothie

1 banana
1 cup milk
1/8 cup raw almonds
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe Directions for Banana Almond Smoothie

  1. Place 1 frozen banana and milk in blender. If frozen banana not avaibalbe can use fresh banan and a few ice cubes.

  2. Add all other ingredients and blend on low then high unitl consistency of a milkshake.

  3. If it is too thin, add few ice cubes.
