Recipe Ingredients for Balsamic Omelette

1 clove (3g) Garlic
2 1/2 ring (10g) Pepper, Sweet, Green - Raw
2 1/2 tbsp chopped (10g) Onions - Raw
1/2 tsp (4.5g) Olive Oil
3 spray (0.3g) PAM - Original Cooking Spray
1 1/2 tbsp (15g) Vinegar, Balsamic
1 piece (21g) Mini Babybel Light Original
2 large (50g) Egg, Whole - Raw, Fresh

Recipe Directions for Balsamic Omelette

  1. Finely chop garlic, green peppers, and onion. Set aside.

  2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat. Coat pan with cooking spray. Add chopped vegetables to pan and sauté for about two minutes. (In order to prevent the oil from splattering, place a spatter screen over the pan.) Add balsamic vinegar to pan and lower heat to medium low and gently stir for about 3 to 4 mins. Remove vegetables from pan and set aside to use later.

  3. Once again, coat frying pan with cooking spray. Add eggs and cook on on medium heat until ready. Add vegetables and the chopped Babybel cheese to one side of the omelette. Fold Omelette in half and allow to cook for a bit. Flip omelette over to cook other side. Remove from frying pan and serve.
