Recipe Ingredients for Balsamic Candied Pecans

1 cup pecan halves
1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe Directions for Balsamic Candied Pecans

  1. Add brown sugar, olive oil, and vinegar to non-stick pan and heat over medium until melted, stirring constantly.

  2. Add pecans and stir well.

  3. Sprinkle salt over pecan mixture.

  4. Continue cooking and stirring mixture until pecans are evenly coated and toasted, approximately 3 to 5 minutes.

  5. Pour mixture on pan lined with parchment paper. With two forks, quickly separate all pieces.

  6. Cool on pan until coating hardens. Nuts can be kept up to a month in the refrigerator.
