Sweet and sour braised Red Cabbage

Recipe Ingredients for Balsamic Braised Red Cabbage

340 grams Cabbage, Red
200 grams Apples
86 grams Onion Red
10 grams Sugars, Granulated
4 tbsp Vinegar Balsamic
2 tbsp Regular Spread
2 tsp Thyme, Fresh
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf

Recipe Directions for Balsamic Braised Red Cabbage

  1. Slice apples, cabbage and red onion and put into oven proof casserole. Add thyme, bay, vinegar and 1/2c water with salt and pepper.

  2. Put into 375 degree oven and bake covered for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake further 15 minutes. Before serving add benecol spread and stir through.
