Easy biscuits that can be made up to 24 hours in advance

Recipe Ingredients for Baking Powder Biscuits

1/3 cup lard
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup 2% milk

Recipe Directions for Baking Powder Biscuits

Preheat oven at 400 degrees (or not if your making these in advance) combine all ingredients except milk and mix with fingers until it resembles course cornmeal. Slowly add milk and barely mix. Place on floured surface and kneed twice. Seal in put in fridge for up to 24 hours or spread out dough until 1 inch thick and cut with a knife or biscuit cutter. Bake for 20 minutes.
