WAYYYYY better than the store bought biscuits in a tube. Only 5 ingredients that almost everyone has in their pantry. These are my fav biscuit recipe. Heavy and filling. Not low-fat for sure. But I like them because they are supercheap to make and very tasty.

Recipe Ingredients for Baking Powder Biscuits

3 cups flour
7 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup shortening
2 1/4 cup 1% milk
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Recipe Directions for Baking Powder Biscuits

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening to fine texture. Mix in milk. Knead. Do not overknead. Cut into 24 biscuits. Cook in hot 475 degree over, middle rack or one higher, for 12-15 minutes.
