2 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening

Recipe Directions for Baking Powder Biscuits-Drop

  1. Sift flour, baking powder, & salt. Cut in shortening until mixtture resembes cornmeal.

  2. Add milk, stir lightly until soft puffy dough forms.

  3. Spoon onto parchment paper lined cookie sheet

  4. Cook for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
