Recipe Ingredients for baked ziti

1 3/10 lb ground turkey
1 lb penne pasta
15 oz ricotta cheese, part-skim
32 oz marinara sauce
2/5 lb mozzarella, deli
1/2 lb mozzarella, buffalo, chopped up into small pieces

Recipe Directions for baked ziti

  1. preheat oven to 350

  2. cook pasta as directed

  3. brown ground turkey in skillet

  4. mix together about 1.5 cups of marinara sauce and ricotta cheese and set aside

  5. mix pasta with a small amount of olive oil and put into pan

  6. add about a 1.25 cup of marinara sauce and buffalo mozzarella and mix

  7. pour ricotta mix over noodles and even out

  8. make a layer of marinara sauce with whatever remains

  9. layer on ground turkey

  10. cover the top with slices of cheese

  11. bake until golden brown on the top
