Cheese laden italian dish. A family favorite at our house.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Ziti

1 lb hamburger
26 oz spaghetti sauce
16 oz noodles
6 slices provolone cheese
16 oz cottage cheese
1 egg
2 cups mozzarella cheese
2 cups colby jack cheese
1 cup parmesean cheese

Recipe Directions for Baked Ziti

  1. Brown the hamburger. I usually season with Tastefully Simple's Onion Onion and Garlic Garlic.

  2. Drain if needed.

  3. Add the spaghetti sauce and mix.

  4. Cook the noodles until just done.

  5. Put noodles in bottom of greased 9x13 pan.

  6. In a bowl, mix together the egg (beaten), cottage cheese, 1 1/2 c mozzarella cheese, 1 1/2 c colby jack cheese & 1/2 c parmesean cheese.

  7. Put cheese mixture over the noodles. Add the provolone cheese slices.

  8. Pour meat mixture over cheese layer.

  9. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheeses on top.

  10. Cover and bake for 45 min.

  11. *I have also added pepperoni and mushrooms.
