Really good! "4" is having-it-as-a-meal servings; when I consider it a side dish, number of servings is 8-10

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Turnip

1 turnip
2 tbs butter
1 tbs brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 pinch nutmeg

For topping:
8 tbs bread crumbs
2 tbs butter, melted

Recipe Directions for Baked Turnip

Cook and mash cubed turnip with 2 tbs butter. Add mixed dry ingredients and eggs, well beaten. Put into casserole dish. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter and sprinkle over turnip. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until light brown on top.
