Baked Tofu Recipe

Tofu in a flavorful marinade of soy sauce and garlic, baked until chewy.

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Tofu

3 T low soy sauce
2 T peanut oil
1 garlic clove, minced
16 ounces firm tofu

Recipe Directions for Baked Tofu

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Lightly oil a baking dish with cooking spray.

  3. Place the tofu on a cutting board. Cover with a plate, and then place a can on top for weight. Leave for 15 minutes to press out extra water. Drain the water. Cut tofu into cubes approximately 3/4" in size.

  4. Meanwhile, mix soy sauce, oil and garlic in a bowl. Toss tofu in the marinade.

  5. Spread the tofu on the baking dish in a single layer. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring once, until chewy and golden.
