A simple marinade then baked for 1 hour

Recipe Ingredients for Baked Tofu

16 oz firm tofu
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

Recipe Directions for Baked Tofu

  1. Drain the tofu by slicing in half and wrapping in paper towels. Then place onto baking sheet and weighing it down with another pot. Let sit for 20 minutes.

  2. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

  3. Place the Tofu in a glass baking dish and pour marinade over completely. Allow to sit 3 hours or overnight, turning once.

  4. Heat oven to 375F, remove from marinade and place on light oiled baking sheet. Bake until Tofu is well browned and very firm, turning once during the process, about 1 hour total. Serve hot or allow to cool, or refrigerate for a few days.
