Recipe Ingredients for baked sweet potatoes and onions

3 lbs sweet potatoes, halved lengthwise, then cut into thin slices
3 red onions, halved lengthwise, then cut into thin slices
2 cups apple cider
1 t salt

Recipe Directions for baked sweet potatoes and onions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Mix all ingredients together in a baking dish.

  3. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour.

  4. Remove the foil and continue to bake 30 minutes more, or until the sweet potatoes are tender.
