Recipe Ingredients for Baked Sweet Potato "Fries" (Barefoot Contessa)

242 g sweet potatoes (2 medium)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe Directions for Baked Sweet Potato "Fries" (Barefoot Contessa)

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  2. Halve sweet potatoes lengthwise and cut each half into three long spears.

  3. Toss in a bowl with the olive oil.

  4. Spread in one layer on sheet pan.

  5. Combine brown sugar, salt, and pepper and sprinkle on the potatoes.

  6. Bake for 15 minutes and then turn with a spatula.

  7. Bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until lightly browned.

  8. Sprinkle lightly with salt and serve hot.
